From completing my Dip. Interior Design in 1999, I was thankfully employed in Melbourne working with diverse Concepts, Locations & Budgets. I put my hand up for any different experience I could gain from tradesmen & craftspeople – eye matching paint for colour projects, Designing Furniture and working with makers and upholsterers, learning product compositions & availability in the market place, gaining knowledge of site conditions and taking measurements to produce Joinery plans, Planning, meeting budgets and co-ordination of Commercial Projects to meet expectations, gaining accounts with major fabric and furniture suppliers nationally, Drafting kitchens and bathrooms for Italian Kitchen company, private Auto Cad tuition, Measurements, specification and understanding of installation of Blinds and Drapes.
Over 13 years Vida Design gained a “word of mouth” cliental for bespoke designs for Residential and Commercial projects –

Since relocating to Geelong in 2014, Vida Design continues Custom Design & Construction of Kitchen & Bathrooms and Furnishing supply for Residential and Commercial Projects.
We engaged Vida Design to assist us with some new furniture & interior design ideas for our renovated house, we were really impressed with the way in which the ideas and concepts were presented and they listened and paid close attention to our thoughts, tastes and needs of our family. We never felt pressured and once decisions were made, Vida were great in taking the hassle out of the process and kept us in the loop right up to delivery. We have no hesitation in recommending Vida Design, they were integral in creating a stylish & comfortable home for us.
Vida Design have helped internally and externally on our last 4 houses over the past 14 years. The advice and practicality Vida deliver is greatly appreciated. The styles of houses we’ve had include Californian Bungalow, Edwardian and Victorian Terrace and have all improved dramatically with Vidas guidance. Vida take into account existing furnishing, artwork etc. when making finishes and paint selections. We love working with Vida and would happily recommend them.
